I'm currently reading Nikki Sixx's The Heroin Diaries. I like autobiographies cuz it's like stepping into someone else's real life - and this one is especially addictive because it not a proper autobio, its his actual diary entries from the time so it's easy to read and get really stuck into. Plus, I ordered it in the mail and so when I got it I was pleasantly shocked at how much work went into the page layouts!

Frustration at the characters' choices aside, I don't understand why there were so many loose ends in a 450 page book. If it's going to be the final installment of the series, finish it.

And, while you're at it, explore some characters. Considering there were so few new ones throughout the series, it didn't feel like there was a lot of time given to developing them.

Seriously considering finding/writing an alternative end/Mockingjay fan fiction.

Be ashamed, writer. If you were forced to cut it down due to deadlines or allocated pages, change your publisher.

All of these points.

Characters were just there either to just say something or die. I didn't feel like Katniss was a hero at all. Like she just let herself be used and had a few moments where she acted on her own. And then it just ends.

The second book introduced new stuff and then it's not explored. How anyone can say the final book was great is beyond me. I did not get a closure feeling.

his book sounds interesting. I never liked his band though so I never paid much attenion to him outside his "I almost died 12 time" VH1 specials.

Artemis Fowl : The Last Guardian

"Confidence is ignorance. If you're feeling cocky, it's because there's something you don't know"

Why do book series have to end. Specially ones that are funny, intelligent and just really good.

In high school all the AP and Honors students had to read Brit Lit books. I guess they assumed everyone else was too stupid, but in college, not so much.

Jane Eyre is the best woman ever.

I first read it in 7th or 8th grade. I'm pretty excited to read it now that I'm in college...even if you generally understood a book, sometimes stuff goes over your head as a kid. ;)

I'm currently reading Cunt by Inga Muscio and I absolutely love it. I picked up a bunch of feminist books from a used book store recently and I've never been happier about a purchase.
